Academics in the ACC

I think that Syracuse stresses academics. Most of our kids know they will not play in the NFL. They know it is about positioning themselves for their future. I hope we do not just push kids along or arraneg for "tutors" to do the work. This will always come back and bite you on the posterior.

Besides, if we were doing this, I would think we would have more 5 star kids on the roster.

The answer to the first question is no. Other schools have special courses for athletes and lots of extra tutoring, but Cheater Hill has been taking players that can barely read and write and giving them a diploma anyway. They have taken several players that no other school in the conference (e.g. Clemson) would take for academic reasons.

So, I would guess the answer to the second question is no too.
