With 5 top four seeds, ACC should have had at least 5 wins, so there record is a bit skewed. The key for the ACC grade will be the round of 32. (Then again, that theory doesn't exactly hold with the Big 12!)

In the end, the first round ultimately went fairly close to chalk, except for the 2 very early upsets.

The top 2 seeds were fairly dominant, all well in control at the end of the first half with the exception of Virginia.

Fixed the BE for you

Big 12 = most over rated conference. Where are all the big mouth media guys who hyped them all year as by far the best conference?

One small mistake -- San Diego St did move on showing some rare offensive form. So MwC does have one team move on.

The Big East at 0-2 yesterday could not keep their momentum.
