HCSS comes in at #13.  At least we are not the bottom of the barrel.  I think that the writer may have been off his meds on several of his picks, especially with our HC.  HCSS should be no lower than middle of the pack as that is where the NEW HC, in a New to Conference School took his team.  Some writers just cannot see the obvious.

Petrino should not be ranked high, last is probably correct in that he is new to the ACC so he has no conference record.  He is a proven coach, so I wouldn't mind if he was in the middle of the pack.  Until the Cards have a season under their belt with Petrino at the helm, they should not top the rankings in any category.

Beamer is way over ranked.  He has built his career on weak schedules and losing to the top teams, middle of the pack is the best he should get.  Number of wins should be an indication of good teams but when they cannot win the big games, it deserves a more in depth look.  That look reveals that VATech beats up patsies and pretty much no one of significance, while splitting the with average teams

Dabo Swinney in the middle of the pack is too low.  He has proven to win year n and year out and brought Clemson into the elite national status, #2 or #3 is probably appropriate.
