Those games take place bc of the name on the Jersey,  the stadium that was built by the 100 years of players preceding these kids, and the elite coaching provided to develop and potentially make a pro and/or man out of these kids at THE MOST pivotal ages of their lives. Add in the fact they will never pay a loan,be provided beautiful wardrobe for 4-5 years, be on a food program of a king, have academic support access 24/7, and EVEN if they never sniff an NFL roster...have the best 4-5 years of their life and an education they can hold their heads high about.

YET!...the perpetual mindset of some about how exploited,  taken advantage off, and poor these kids are in trying to get then PAID...is flippin mindblowing and an insult to the university. Unlike hoops and baseball and hockey...these kids NEED to prove to NFL brass that they can play. This CANNOT be done in HS as it can the other 3 sports.
