ACC football 2014 post-spring power rankings

I am amazed that everyone thinks that Louisville, Pitt and NC State will be better than SU.

North Carolina I get because they have ridiculous talent and constantly underachieve, with bad coaching.

People shouldn't get worked up over this drivel. It's just one man's opinion (Andrew Melnick - never even heard of him) that will long be forgotten by the end of next season (where are all the "experts" who predicted SU would finish near the bottom of the ACC last year?). Compared with the other teams he profiles, Melnick shows zero insight into the Syracuse team.

I can't get worked up about Pitt. The last 2 games have been as close as they come. They have a great running back and get us at home. Losing to them in a close game wouldn't surprise me.

Louisville, Charlie Strong didn't exactly leave the cupboard bare, and the replacement coach certainly knows how to win there. Helps their name keep momentum. Having said that, we get them on Friday night, at home. So that's a game I'd really like to see us win. Especially given how our last game with them went (and they're QB was better than what they'll have in 2014).

NC State? I simply don't get it. I'd expect at least a 2 TD win in the Dome. EDIT - just opened the link, it looks like NC State is behind us. Which make sense.
