GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference and BIG EAST Conference, announced today the formation of a men's basketball officiating alliance, which also includes the Atlantic 10 (A-10) and Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).

The ACC has collaborated with the A-10 and CAA in previous years.

The alliance, which begins immediately, enables the four conferences to work together on all officiating matters and will serve to enhance training, development, recruitment, retention and feedback for its basketball officials.

I wish they could figure out a way to get block / charge calls more consistently called.

The picture looks like "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil".

Someone on our board observed that a more rested Jamie Luckie will still make calls that suck. The most interesting question this idea raises is "Will a CAA or BE ref be more likely to "T" up Coach K^&*gebwe9upe-ski?", or as we like to call him on our board The VLF - Vicious Little Ferret.

I like K, and I admire his success. His problem with officials, however, is that he's been getting 60-40 for so long he doesn't recognize fair when it happens.

Geez, Dave, just don't start ...

Exactly. I love the "amazed" look he gets on his face when he doesn't get the calls in the NCAAT that he gets in the ACC regular season and tournament.
