My take on this (which is worth less than a cup of coffee because I have no inside info) is t hat aside from Dabo's failure to use the portal, the coordinators and staff are not up to Clemson's standard of the last 10 years. The talent you have is still better than most teams. But, hey, if you are not happy with what you have, we may have a spot open up for a few OL.

They might have if only Deion would only use the tried and true run game which served the Cornhuskers for decades. That and drop that forward pass nonsense, everyone knows it's just a fad and doesn't really work well.

Nebraska’s best days were when they were stockpiling all those corn-fed farm boys, both on the roster as well as walk-ons. It was a plug and play OL System. Recruit the speed guys, grow the hogs locally. As recruiting became more national, they can’t just hide OLmen in the barn anymore.

You nailed it. It's basically coaching outside of the portal. When you hire 6 coaches with zero P5 experience (5 with no experience at all) this is what you get. It's been a long time coming...
