Goodman and Dauster picked Cuse to finish 9th, and Childress picked Cuse to finish 13th. All because they don't think they can score. We really need Bunch/Taylor to make shots.

Joe and Jesse do their thing. Judah plays as expected. Bunch/Taylor make shots. Benny shows the dog in him. And JB actually plays a slightly deeper bench so we don't get tired and stop scoring with 4 minutes left of every game. There's definitely a chance this team surprises everyone.

The zone will be the key. If the guards at the top can defend better than last year, which isn’t a given but isn’t a long shot, I think the frontcourt is improved enough that the defense could be one of the best in years. Of course, though, youth is a concern in our zone. Fingers crossed that they’ll pick it up quickly.

I’m not worried about our scoring. If (so many “if’s”) Mintz is the true PG he’s billed as, the offense should be more balanced and less feast or famine than last season.
