Last year, Syracuse’s defense allowed at least 1 explosive play (10+ yard run, 20+ yard pass) on 66% of opponent drives, second-worst rate in the Power 5. Dino Babers thinks this year will be much different. “I just don’t think it’s the same defense. I think our D-line is greatly improved and I think our secondary is greatly improved and luckily we’ve got the same linebackers back.”
