The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Wednesday the basketball student-athletes selected by its 15 league schools to attend the 2022 ACC Tipoff, which will be held October 11-12 at the Westin in Charlotte, North Carolina. The women’s event will be held on Tuesday, October 11 and the men’s event on Wednesday, October 12.

ACC Network will be live from ACC Tipoff for two days of expansive coverage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports will provide the event’s most robust television coverage to date.

The attendees for the 2022 ACC Tipoff are:

Joseph Girard III
Jesse Edwards
 



On expanding the NCAA tournament field, ACC commissioner Jim Phillips says "It's time to look at that.''

On NBA allowing kids to enter draft straight out of high school, ACC commissioner Jim Phillips says "I don't think that hurts the college game.''

On the college sports landscape and conference realignment, ACC commissioner Jim Phillips says "The intensity doesn't stop. We continue to look at all options.'' He adds, "You have to have some stability.''

Talking about the decision to move the ACC's headquarters from Greensboro to Charlotte, Jim Phillips says the ACC will continue to hold championships in Greensboro. The move means a lot; both positively and negatively, to people in this area.

Jim basically confirmed that Carey is the backup center. After Jesse he named Pete and then Bol lol
He was starting to say Mounir and seemed to have forgot his name. I don't think he said Bol. But he did mention Carey second. I'm getting the sense Mounir might not be getting it done.
 


Jim Boeheim says he has teased now retired Mike Krzyzewski about staying busy with gardening. "What will you do when it snows?''

Jim Boeheim says Joe Girard hasn't gotten the appreciation he has deserved, but will get more with the move to shooting guard this year.
