Accordng to College Basketball Report the Orange are Still in Decline

That’s the same stupid site that tried to portray SU bball as having the 2nd most profit in college bball.

They missed a bunch of teams in their graphic too

Anyone who puts "trash" into any sort of list should lose all credibility in the eyes of the general public, just a term used to juice engagement.

Social media is a joke.
And the nerve to not even put Rutgers in the trash section

Goodman was dunking all over this kid lately, and rightfully so.

How many declining programs will have all five starters being former 4 and 5 star recruits? (Syracuse most likely will next season)

I would argue we are on the upswing but of course win-loss results needed to validate that. Rutgers has to be on the upswing by definition; nowhere to go but up.

Nothing that we fans have seen recently translates to a turnaround until things change on the court. Clearly, talented guys are becoming more interested in us again, which should give us hope, but we still don't know if Red can coach them. I'm hoping he can. I want success for the program and for Red. But we just won't know until after tip off next year.

The thing about college hopes is it could change every year. Look at Pitt. Awful in 2022. Remade the team for 2023. May be down again in 2024.

SU basketball is at its lowest point in 40 plus years based on WL which is what matters.
