I have to say I am happy with what I saw today. Never mind the forgettable offense in the 1st Half, I like that our staff went to work this week and made some drastic changes. - Permanent switch to the 3-4? Bullough did a good job laying off of the kamakazie blitzes. I could be wrong, but I don't think I saw 1 corner or safety blitz. It looked like he really dumbed things down, and sometimes that's a good thing. This defense has talent, and looked much more reactionary today, rather then playing slow because they we're thinking. Good job Chuck. - Moved Ashton to wide out, to get Estime on the field. Brisly went from getting a handful of plays a game to not coming off the field. First off i have to give to to AB for being a team player. He went from the leading receiver to not catching a ball, but still doing a great job blocking for Estime on those bubble screens. Kudo's to GMC for making the move even if it meant moving your most productive receiver. Recognized we needed another play maker, even if it meant sacrificing some receptions from a proven commodity. - Looked like Cornelius replaced Kobena, or at least in the 1st half. I didn't see Kobena on the field? I always liked AC, and think he can be a productive player for us. - Hodge played the whole game at one of the ILB positions, and had a pretty good game from what i saw from the stands. - McDonald made some good halftime adjustments. Recognized we could beat them on the short stuff so fed Estime the whole 2nd half with a bunch of bubble screens. Hunt went from not being able to complete a pass in the 1st quarter, to having one of his best halves of football in the 2H. McDonald has shown the ability to make some nice adjustments in a few games this year. Clemson, NCST, and today stand out. Most of the credit i have to give to Shafer and Bullough. It's easy for a team to start questioning you after getting drubbed 56-0. Coming out and competing like that showed that the kids want to play for him. Going to be an interesting end to the season with some winnable ball games. This was a step in the right direction
