Is that Allen is not good.

We know that Hunt is likely better than Allen.

I wouldn't analyze the Wagner numbers.

I wouldn't rip posters who think they see flaws in Hunt's throwing.

And I certainly wouldn't use stats from the Wagner game to rip posters who see issues with Hunt.

Hunt earned his chance. He probably had earned it well before the PSU game. I look forward to seeing what he does against a couple top 10-50 type teams.

Speaking of flaws - I noticed that Allen as he drops back to pass, looks down at the ground (briefly) and has a slight double clutch before he releases.

Not everyone throws like Peyton Manning, Terry Bradshaw wasn't a picture perfect QB, all he did was win.

haven't seen a single practice so i don't know what the coaches were seeing but my only beef all along has been what took so long to get t. hunt even a few snaps. not dumping on allen at all but hunt could have run a few series during the penn st game and before NW mop up mode. NW played 2 qbs very effectively!

To be fair some of the posters that have been against Hunt have referenced some pretty thin arguments. I.e the guy who said that Hunt didn't lead Chris Clark enough on his touchdown. The touchdown that Clark scored after receiving a perfectly thrown ball in stride.

Good point.

Still, the throat jump downedness of the responses was over the top.

My concern is that some of these 'perfect' throws are pass breakups against real competition. I look forward to evaluating Hunt after he plays against a decent opponent.

Either way, Hunt is better. How much better, or if he's good enough, we don't know.
