After 4 games...

After 4 games, my concerns in order are:

1. Lack of discipline team wide/stupid penalties/missing assignments or alignments
2. Self destructive, non forced turnovers
3. Poor tackling by just about everyone; (Wilkes is great example, but he has many brothers in the "Bouncing off Club")
4. Alexander, and it is blatantly obvious
5. Anderson, seems to be a "Target" every game
6. Lack of size in the LBs; Safeties disguised as LBs
7. Questionable coaching decisions and use of personnel (and I am a BIG Marrone fan)
8. Lack of playmakers - most notably at RB and in the return game/no one who can make something out of nothing
9. ST play
10. Fear...this Nightmare could last a lot longer

I see discipline mentioned constantly. Exactly what is this team wide discipline issue? Seriously, I would like to know how we are defining that before I agree or disagree.

Fair point. For me, the "discipline" I am talking about is strictly on field performance as evidenced by careless penalties and mistakes (e.g., Smith not trying to recover the lateral; the late hit on NW QB; D lineman lining up offsides; personal foul penalties; catching a KO as you are running out of bounds; that kind of thing).

Most college teams are guilty of this to a degree. SU seems to do it with greater frequency. Particularly when judged against the emphasis placed on leadership and accountability within the program.
