turnover ,I did something I've never done before ,ever. I turned off the game. I don't know how many times I can watch a team give away the ball and play so inept. Last night gave mr a clue. Not much more is all I have left in my tank.I've never been a front runner type of fan but watching this team virtually hand over another game to an inferior team I think i can understand those that don't want to pay $ and go to the Dome and watch their hard earned money squandered in an afternoon of frustration.:bat:

I did exactly the same thing. My wife came in and said. "Oh, can we watch Mystery?" I thought for a second and realized I could not watch another game with teams playing the way they should and said sure. Even a dedicated fan can only take so much.

In response to a softball question about the call in the post-game presser, Marrone said he couldn't remember what plays they ran vs. Stony Brook in similar situations. Is he that detached from the offensive play-calling?

Try being a Browns fan as well...pretty used to getting double whammied every weekend. :bat:

Yep, its one of those things that just point to coaching.

Watching the Ball State - USF game I saw a great piece of coaching tactic for a goal line play.

The huddled up a called 2 plays. Ran the first one up the gut which came up short of the goal line.

While the defense was batting their chests and picking themselves off the ground, the offense quickly lined up in formation and ran a QB sneak before the defense had gotten set. It was like taking candy from a baby. Brilliant coaching, without that TD they probably lose the game, just like we did.

There is a solution to every problem ... even if it's a "work around". Unfortunately Marrone wants to play traditional football the way he did when he was a pup and tries forcing things that aren't there.

I think this is true. We need to learn to play desparate and urgent.

It didn't take a rocket surgeon to see that Doug was PO'ed on thew sidelines. What we will never see is him getting verbal in public with the team. At least I don't think we will but even a man in control of his emotions will blow at this crap after a while.
