Yeah, let's keep complaining about the defense and West.
And that's with sometimes shaky play from the secondary.

Don't have the numbers in front of me but I also have the impression that our in-game adjustments on D are working pretty well this year.

We are wasting some very good defense with our poor offensive execution and bonehead decisions.

West is going to have one of our best receiving seasons ever from a receptions and yardage standpoint. He's played so far above my expectations. He's having the kind of senior season you hope to see.

Millhouse, oh king of statistical analysis (seriously said, not mocking), please put together some passer rating/QBR stats to show the fan base just how inept things are on that side of the ball. A brief look at the numbers is just astonishing as to how bad it has gotten and how the current fan base may no longer know what a statistically rated QB looks like on the field (outside of our one year R. Nassib).

unfortunately, that school game finder link doesn't include any efficiency rankings in the criteria

we haven't cracked 120 qb rating yet against p5 teams. 120 sucks

we've cracked 130 once against p5 the last 2 years. 130 isn't anything special

the main goal in the offense in the off season should be to install a simple offense that allows for young qbs to have any efficiency. i don't know where we can find any of those offenses other than flipping on any random channel anytime on saturday

Keep in mind that many of the in game adjustments have come during games in which 3 (ND, WF, NCST) of the last 6 opponents have had two weeks to prepare. I believe that's why we got off to shaky starts defensively in all three games.

The defensive staff has done a great job.

Defense has been incredible. Anyone who (somehow) can't see that isn't watching.

As mentioned, add in the fact the offense gives the ball right back to the other team rather quickly.

Unfortunately, offense just isn't a thing.

I think we'll continue being very good on D for a long time. Clearly the problem is the offense...

Fwiw, as a team we are 116th of 128. Individually both Hunt and Long are well outside the top 100. Hunts is a bit better than Longs.
