I'm so discouraged because our margin for error has gotten even thinner than it was last year. That really worries me for the program's long term outlook. I've posted many times that I feel our staff plays for the close game and not for the best possible outcome the moment could offer. I think they coach scared. I think that's shown to be a disastrous approach. Also, I agree with the other poster that said we are very, very close to being a 3 win team. Lastly, Marrone, whether right or wrong to have done so, has been given such a long leash. People have said the offense isn't changing; others have said we don't have the talent to run the offense that's wanted. Either way, I'm hard pressed to believe that the offense we have now is the best it could be with the talent on hand, and I've posted about that elsewhere.
