Smith always said he retired too soon. I think that resonates with JB.

The only problem is in the ESPN article they stated he has been dealing with dementia for at least the last 7 years possibly more. He has been retired for 17 years now. He went out at the top of his game and I just wonder how he would have been with the grueling schedule and his health problems.
 
JAB says he'll let Hopkins take over but he still wants to sit on the bench and do the press conferences.
 
My personal belief is "Why retire when you are enjoying what you do?"

The move to the ACC is like a second win for Coach Boeheim. You had to know as soon as the decision to move was taken he'd go for a few more years at least.
