Reading about the games in Italy, it's hard not to get excited about how good we could be this year.

- Everyone is scoring
- We're bombing away form the outside and that's opening up the inside
- Carey is blowing by people
- Sidibe is healthy
- Guerrier is a beast
- Girard looks like GMAC
- We're playing up-tempo, even beyond the shot clock
- We're even playing some man for man

I'm trying not to inhale.

Heck, it's August. Let's get too excited. Generating team chemistry is vital to SU's success and gallivanting (ok, maybe travelling would be a better word) through the peninsula of Italy in a tight group can only serve to strengthen the bonds of this year's edition. It's really like an entirely new team this year. My money is on QG to be the quiet glue guy that keeps us performing at an elevated level. Also looking forward to a few lights out performances from our splash brothers (JG & JB). If Sidibe continues to improve and Hughes stays steady...well who knows.
I recognize I omitted a slew of players and my "analysis" is a mile wide and an inch deep, but my focus is perturbed by the Orangemen taking on the Flames of Liberty in 2 weeks.

It is a new team this year.

Let's hope we continue playing D3 teams all year and we are cutting down the nets! I'm already editing "one shining moment" clips.

40-0 anything else is a failure
I'm sure Holy Shirt can make this is orange.
