Tucking and running hasn't worked out for him. He isn't the kind of player that can get away from a strong rush.Whenit comes to this issue next spring I think Edouard will show exceptionally better than AJ and gets a good look by the staff.AJ must show something big this Saturday against the Dukies. The book on Alin indicates excellent speed and the ability to get out of trouble. He also has the attitude of a winner and we all know that Shafer likes the kid. and allowed him to do what ever he had to do without any apparent sanctions thus far.

But...AJ really hasn't tucked and ran very often?

t this point after AAM leaves we really have no power back on the roster unless you think that McFarlane can add some muscle mass and do the job.

Yes, I agree. Though I don't think a big, 230 power back is absolutely necessary in the modern college game. I think McFarlane will be able to get the tough yards.

I am wondering how this relates to AJ Long tucking/not tucking and running though?

IMO #1 thing hunt brought in last year was leadership and the respect of the team. seems to me like that winner mystique has worn a bit thin. wide open race.

Good God in heaven
First of all IF there was a god and a heaven he or she wouldn't care less.Either way its moot.

When last year's starter throws something near 8 INTs its not that difficult to rally support for the replacement

Unproven incoming freshmen >>>> everybody else on the roster.
