So Lydon didn't make All-Rookie team? Ingram, Bacon, Beasley, Mali...who's the 5th?

G makes 2nd team all ACC along with all defensive team. Mali makes all rookie team.

Congrats to both. Very well deserved.
No Lydon?

another thing I happened to notice, Pitt related - Young getting 2nd team while Artis getting nothing is dumb too

You have to be kidding if you think G is better than Allen. Allen makes big plays after big plays. G makes too many turnovers and you can't count on him at the foul line at the end of games. I like G, but it's not even close between the two. G has way too many What moments for my take. Nobody on SU has that killer instinct. Allen wants to rip your heart out.

Allen trips people like a little [redacted].

Allen is a punk...he trips ppl and plays dirty. that doesn't make you "rip ppls heart out." Also his biggest play was a travel against Virginia. G is a senior...who should get preference over a sophomore when you basically lead the ACC in every stat category.

Artis isn't nearly as good against everyone else as he is against us. His last 2 games to close out this year he shot 3/17 from the field, 0/7 from 3 with 11pts, 4 rebounds and 5 TOs. We can only pray he continues the cold streak on Wednesday

He's a good stand still and spot up shooter. Teams that play man cause him problems. He will get the straight on three against us and he will find some success.

It doesn't matter that he tripped anyone, he still makes winning plays. How many close games have we won? We have totally collapsed in the final four minutes of games this year. You don't see Duke do that. People would say the same things about Devendorf, but he made winning plays at the end of games. People could easily say he was a punk too.

What does record in close games have to do with it? If that was the case Barber shouldn't be on the team.

Duke is 11-7...2 games better then our 9-9. G won the NC state and VaTech games. Also, who won the close game in Cameron? They are tied in FG% and rebounds, G has him in assists, steals and allen leads in points and 3pt %. It is close but should go to the senior.

I guess I shouldn't be since this is a Syracuse forum, but I'm a bit surprised that anybody thinks Gbinije > Grayson Allen.

I'll put my own assessment this way: G is as good a 3 as Allen is a 2. I will not lose sleep over GA making the 1st team over G, but the difference in terms of their ability at each of their respective natural positions, and value to their teams is probably negligible. GA is in fact terribly overrated.
