Okay, there are I believe three all league teams, Want to take a guess at
which players on our squad will make All ACC and what teams they make?

A lot depends on the result of the Miami game. It shouldn't but if we finish 9-3 instead of 8-4, it will make a significant impact on how the team and the players are perceived.

Agree with OE that McCord will get 2nd team ACC after Cam Ward. He was generally ranked around 9th or 10th preseason so this was a major jump for him.

Bryson Nesbit was first team All ACC at TE last year but he has 24 catches for 264 yards and 3 TDs this season. Stats are down significantly. Can't see him getting it again.

I believe Jake Briningstool of Clemson was first team All ACC preseason and he has had a good year. 38 catches for 403 yards and 5 TDs.

Gavin Bartholomew of Pitt was also highly regarded in the preseason. He has had a decent year, with 34 catches for 277 yards and 2 TDs.

Oronde has 71 catches for 864 yards and 5 TDs.

The only other ACC TE I can find that looks remotely competitive is Justin Joly, who transferred to NC State from UConn last summer. He has 37 catches for 576 yards and 3 TDs.

Anyway, if Oronde is not first team All ACC, something is horribly wrong with the voting. I expect he will get his just due and be first team all conference.

At WR, Xavier Restrepo of Miami and Ja'Corey Brooks of UL have the most TDs and yards and I think will be first team. Pena has the most receptions, Meeks has the next most yards but Antonio Williams of Clemson will likely get preferential treatment and made 2nd team. One of the SU guys will probably also be 2nd team and the other 3rd team.

I think Savion Washington gets 3rd team all ACC at OL. The offense has been too good to ignore all our OL. Petry and Reed get HM.

At RB, I love LeQuint but he has some tough competition to deal with. The ACC has four guys over 1000 yards already and Allen isn't very close. His ypc isn't nearly as good as those guys either. Hampton will get first team. Tuten probably gets 2nd team. Smith of SMU and Mafah of Clemson get 3rd team and HM. No love for our guy.

For special teams, Stonehouse is third in the league in yards/kick and should at least make HM. For FGs, we were horrible again. Our return teams were really dismal and we aren't getting anything here, though Trebor might get HM for past performance.

On defense, I think Barron gets 2nd team all conference. He is up there in tackles and was well regarded going in. Wax will probably get 3rd team, handicapped by the late start. Clark might get 3rd team or HM. Lewis is 3rd in the ACC in passes defended. I think he gets 2nd or 3rd team. Bellamy's injury won't help him but he might get HM.

Diggs will get 2nd or 3rd team at DL. Would not be shocked if Watson and Perry get HM mention.

Antwaun Powell-Ryland and Spit Ezeiruaku will be first team All ACC. So will Noah Williams of Cal, who had 5 interceptions and scared everyone he played against. I would vote for McMillon and Buchanan if I had a vote. Dominant players.
