Don't watch every last bit of Marvel content, but saw the Dr. Strange movie and thought it was pretty good. Raimi/Toby McGuire spiderman movies were obsessions for kids my age growing up, and any scene from those gives me a wave of nostalgia. Him directing it is the main reason I made a point to see this one. This doesn't spoil anything but those scenes where Wanda sticks her hand into a solid object and it goes through it like it is a pool of water were clear references to Evil Dead, his classic breakout film. Thought his style got overshadowed by Marvel antics at times but there were some scenes/moments where his identity shined through. Should have definitely tried to release this around Halloween, but with covid it is possible they couldn't swing it.

2 hours but I got bored at times due to Marvel sensory overload. This has happened a lot with recent marvel stuff. During action scenes instead of riding the insane wave I mentally check out. Besides that there were still some fantastic visual moments that had nothing to do with CGI. Could probably credit those to Raimi/the massive budgets.
