Why would anyone want to be stuck in a situation where they are waiting for their coach to have no other options than to play them!?!? This style of bench "development" may have worked when kids were effectively trapped by their decision to attend a particular school but I think last year should've given everyone involved a good idea of how it works in the post-portal world.
