If TJ Neal is under the impression (or was told by staff) that the LB spots for the upcoming class had been filled. I could only see this being the case if there's already a highly regarded prospect in the fold who perhaps gave a silent commit.

If that is not the case than I will be very disappointed since this kid seems to have had the 'Cuse at the top of his list.

Before anyone goes bezerk on my post,...if this was already brought up...I apologize.

I know nothing about him, maybe he's a good player. But just because he has us at the top of his list, doesn't mean we have him at the top of our list.

Well, just by looking at the prospects left at the position still uncommitted he's one of the better ones.
Just wondering ,...that is all.

The more I read about these HS players we are turning down, the more I wonder if there isn't a new JUCO or 3 that will show up on our roster on signing day.

Rivals is listing 2 guys from City College of SF visiting Big East schools. Anyone with a membership wanna take a look and see if either are visiting here?

West Virginia just picked up WR from City College and a OT visited on the 18th....probably the two you were refering to.

This has been discussed a lot. The conventional wisdom is that there are better players who have verballed that we don't know about. I sure hope so.

Better players in the staff's estimation, a clarification I think needs to be made repeatedly on here. Not in the estimation of amateur writers at recruiting sites, or other coaching staffs.

Could also be they wanted guys who were a slight step down in talent, but who were willing to commit firmly and not string us along in a risky game.

And remember better in the staffs eyes not ours or scouts, etc and that being said, who knows where some of these guys stand academic wise as well

Oops sorry java had not read your post
