I feel compelled to bring him up because I have been so critical of him in the past but ...wow does this kid have wheels! I still find him to be a weak link size, cover,etc. wise but that was impressive catching that running back from behind on Sat.

A lot of our back end struggled a bit in terms of tackling Saturday. I love Barron but he was a step slow on a number of their chunk rushing plays.

On the one big running play in the 4th quarter, it looked like Barron charged toward the LOS after the snap, not sure if it was a delayed blitz or what, but he ended up way out of position. Then Simmons overplayed his responsibility. Two safeties gone, just like that.

I think that was the play that Greenwood ended up catching him.

Safety has been depleted. LaBrosse leaving, Carter MIA, Barron leaped Hanna, haven't heard from him since. I guess Greenwood was in for Coley on that play? (and Coley is in for Carter)

me thinks with Taj, etc., this team is in the middle of some sort of overhaul of the new replacing the old, mostly because of attitude, culture changes and differing loyalties. An in season Marrone light situation. Just a guess...

Barron was gassed at the tail end of the game... He's playing lots of snaps plus all specials...

Agreed...that was some serious display of speed. His cover skills are still lacking, I notice this a lot. But he's young.

We really miss Carter and LaBrosse right now. That's quite a hit to the secondary to - down 2 starters - that nobody has much talked about.

agreed...he's definitely made mistakes with bad reads and poor tackling but considering the youth he's been fine. Has great size, will only get stronger and better. High potential.
