Amazing defense

So the 2 defenses talked up last week and today as being the college equivalent of the Steel curtain and ‘85 Bears are/have really showed up today.

FSU and Rutgers. They’ve played (are playing) pretty much as I’ve said they would. Rutgers is terrible, any arguing they have some top defensive is insane. And Florida state, I mean, that was an even more ridiculous argument than the Rutgers one.

Fair point. And I’m not saying they suck. They have good athletes. But the way people were talking like it was some vaunted D is ridiculous. It’s a solid unit. Lots of those in CFB.

On a weekend vacation so was just happy to see SU last night. So only checking box scores as games are going.

Makes losing to him even worse. Hate that program and hate Schiano. I get so much joy seeing them be a punching bag for the B10.

Watching this game shows how bad that loss will be. We play the Liberty game plan of running the ball down the throats, and we win

The weird thing is in that Rutgers game. It wasn’t even like we were trying to make some other game plan work and it just didn’t. Nobody knows what the game plan even was. It had a “Shafer days” feel all over it. At some point in just wildly picking things from the playbook, at no time did the bingo number land on a Tucker running play.
