I will add one thing that pisses me off to no end. When you are out in the world and you are wearing some team gear (any team that you are a diehard of) and somebody stops you to start a conversation about them. You get excited to talk 'shop' about your favorite team, and then 20 seconds into the conversation it becomes readily apparent they don't know jack about your (and supposedly their) team. Like I've had people stop me to talk Cuse sports and weren't sure if Boeheim was still coaching the basketball team, cuz he's old. I've also had people talking Cuse football and not know that Ryan Nassib was our QB 2 years ago that claim to have followed the team religiously for decades.

I'm not expecting a random person on the street to know the name of that redshirt freshman DE we have that I think is going to be a monster with a shot at the NFL in two years. But in order to keep a conversation with me talking about my teams, you gotta know the minimum basics as in the biggest names on our roster and in JBs case that he is our coach. If you can't name the starting QB on the football team, you aren't a fan, fair weather or otherwise, so don't pretend you are. You are just a person who happens to have heard the name Syracuse and remember our color is Orange.
