They are huge but when it comes to high end Div 1 Athletics it goes out the window.  I can't think of a Div 1 BCS level teams that has retained a coach because they were worried about a player transferring.  Miami doesn't seem to worried about Kya leaving.
 
As noted by many other posters on here when push comes to shove most kids who threaten to transfer end up staying put when the reality of the situation sinks in once the emotions wear off.  I like this team and despite the W/L record I still like the staff and hope they can get over the hump.  But for Coyle to hold off on making a change at the end of the year if the team is 3-9 and he feels a change is necessary because hes worried about Erv Phillips or Estime or Clark or even Dungey leaving would be idiotic.  And thats not a slight on any of those guys because trust me I like all of them a lot as players.
 
You keep the staff because you feel they are the best fit for the job and have shown you enough to make you feel they are on the cusp not because a few guys from a 6-18 team might bail.
