Damn that was good ... I could have sat through a full hour of Rak's journey through SU, really could have.

More interesting is that the way "G" was talking definitely sounded like he was returning to take us to the Final Four next year.

That video was fantastic--well done, SU.
It made me think about how far he's come throughout the course of his career. From that token starter who wasn't ready to be a high level contributor on that terrific '12 squad as a frosh, to a second team all american who had one of the top seasons for a big man in program history.
All a testimony to the kid's hard work. And it was nice to see him reflect upon his career and view it so favorably--it is nice to see him without that scowl / look of intensity on his face, and get a glimpse of the kid he really is.
He also got it done in the classroom--a true student athlete.
Its really a shame that such a terrific year from Rak was wasted under these circumstances.

Can someone tell me if JB doesn't regularly appear in these type of tribute videos? I know Rak and Hop worked together extensively, but it just feels weird. I liked the video a ton. I certainly hope that Rak was able to impart some of what he learned about being an actual student-athlete to those younger than him on the squad.
