And now for the good news...

They look good. I like their style of play-very up tempo, hounding defense and let it fly on offense. It's fun to watch.
I also like some of the differences in format in the women's game, like 10 minute quarters and 5 fouls for the bonus, which is 2 shots. The refs tend to call a lot more of the flow-interrupting fouls that the let go in the men's game.

They are fun to watch and the program's improving every year. I wish TWC would show more of their games instead of HS hockey.

CTO, you're right! When is the next women's game? I will watch it. To hell with men! I'm done with them - FOREVER!*

*Wednesday

Tomorrow against ND at 12:30.

I'm surprised they won a conference championship before. Didn't realize the program had success prior to Coach Q.

I'm flying in from Arizona for the NCAA games. I want everyone who is in Syracuse to go and support them. Got my flights. Just need my seats, hotel and rental car and figure out my trip to Toronto to see my son after. If I can get there from AZ, you can get there from anywhere with an hour of Syracuse.

They had some good teams in the 80's under Barb Jacobs and went 22-9 in '87-88. Chris Palombi, Felisha Legette, Sue Ludwig, Vera Jones , Danene Hopson, Tonya Hendrix, Holly Oslander, Simone Courtlandt etc were some of the players back then etc. Jacobs was Big East Coach of the year at least once that I can remember, she's now an athletic administrator for the AAC conference. Then they hired Marianna Freeman after a few years of mediocrity under Jacobs and sadly in even Freeman's good years, were just mediocre.

My daughters and I are very excited to see SU play a home NCAA game or games. Took some of the edge off the men's loss to see my girls so excited for Q and the team.

Well hopefully I will be meeting more people that I have not met before, and we will have lots to celebrate!
