They were WRONG on Selection Sunday and they're still WRONG now. Top 40 ratings in Sagarin, BPI and KenPom. FIVE top 50 wins - three of which on the road. Best conference in the country. Head coach out nine games in which three of the worst losses in the season occurred.

Honestly, I agree. The results of the tournament do not change the merit of inclusion. The fact is, Syracuse deserved to be in the tournament based on any non-biased measure. Compare resumes, Orange in. Eye test, Orange in. For whatever reason, many of these talking heads cannot be fair and unbiased. Makes them look like fools to those of us that had enough of a rooting interest to study the resumes of many of the bubble teams. Obviously they did not have the time or journalistic integrity to do their homework. They just listened to a bunch of garbage that some of their peers were dishing out and jumped on board. I hope that not doing their job well gives them more time to spend with their families.

I hear you man, it's just too hard sometimes for me to watch at times. But this team I figured you just can't give up on so clipped my phone to the belt, opened the app that gives me updates, had a friend doing the same and went to the yard and when they cut it to less than 10 it was back in and game on. Wow and double wow.

It's always amusing to see people with such tortured and convoluted logic trying to defend a point which they made that is pretty much dismissed by everyone rational. Syracuse had more wins against top teams than ANY OF THE OTHER TEAMS which have been held out as being more deserving than they were. It's really that simple. They beat Duke at Cameron, they beat Texas A&M on a neutral court, they beat Uconn on a neutral court, and on and on...
So now this cretin wants to change the thrust of the discussion to the fact that just because Syracuse is winning it doesn't change the fact that they didn't deserve to be in the tournament.
Conversely...but correctly... just because Syracuse continues to win it doesn't make your basic premise right either. BOTTOM LINE THEY DESERVED TO BE IN... The committee thought so... and that's what makes some one deserving... its whether the committee thinks so or not. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

They change it in the sense that watching Syracuse in this tournament should make up for the homework they missed out on. Someone with integrity would recognize that, had they bothered to do the research before Selection Sunday, they would have known that we deserved to get in in the first place. Of course, someone with integrity wouldn't depend on someone else's opinion instead of actually doing their job.
Vandy, Tulsa, Michigan, were the last teams in, we weren't even the last ten seed. You can't reason with people who are blinded by hate.
Well, I'll never get that time back.
On a serious note, why isn't our media sponsor doing hit pieces on the Big Ten? ...Or the Pac? Honestly, those are both layups.

This is all spot on. There were 5 teams in behind cuse. And lunardi and palm both need their privelage checked. Their jobs are not to tell us who they think should be in. Their job is to project what they believe the committee will do. They were wrong about what they thought the committee would do with cuse. Very wrong considering the aforementioned "5 teams in behind them". This does not make the committee wrong. It makes the brackeologists wrong. And they clearly don't like being made a fool...
