Maybe Cashman can pull away from the winter meetings with a deal that strengthens the club I wouldn't mind seeing Hughes going to the NL. Let him serve up gopher balls to that side of baseball I've had enough of him doing that as a Yankee. Nova is young and seems willing to learn so I keep him unless there is a super offer on the table. Only a few monthsto the spring stuff.

Although I have no evidence to support it, I'm convinced that Hughes has a higher proportion of big innings (3+ runs) than any other pitcher with comparable ERAs. He's a ticking time bomb.
