**prospective and in general**

Who we thinking?

Shoe-in’s imo are:

Healthy Garrett Williams
Tucker
Bergeron
Thompson

Maybe’s:

Jones
Carter
Duce

Down the line:

Lockett
Wax

Isn’t this only Duce’s 2nd year?

Meaning he has to wait until the 2023 draft?

Or are we just saying in general at some point?

Just in general/potential terms.

Won’t discuss who is “likely” to leave for the draft until the season’s through and we’ve enjoyed celebrating our national championship.

Okay, I will play.

Yes, Garrett Williams. He is projected as a 2nd round pick in at least one mock for 2023.

Bergeron is pretty much universally expected to be drafted.

Stefon Thompson is surprisingly ranked ahead of Mikel on the mocks I have seen. I think they like his size. He is almost 250 pounds now.

Going more into the future, I think Geer could develop into an NFL player.

If I had to pick one WR to get to the NFL, it would be Gadsden. Hatcher would be my second choice but he has a lot of work to do. Alford is probably going to get some attention because of his size and speed but he has to do more on the field. Hope that happens this season.

I think Bleich could be drafted if he can stay healthy. Cruz looks like the most promising OL that really hasn’t played yet but it is really tough evaluating players mostly on HS tape.

Ellis is another guy with NFL size and ability. Needs to work his butt off in the weight room to turn some fat into muscle. But he has the athleticism and raw strength to make it.

Duce could. I don’t see the high end speed with him I do with Garrett, which might make him an undrafted FA. He has time to work on things.

Guys like Oliver, Clark and Carter could make it if they work hard and continue to improve.

I don’t see Tucker on many mock draft boards but I didn’t take a long time to look. Surprised by that. Hope he moves up after a big year this season. There are a couple of backups at RB that also have NFL level ability.

Wonder how many draftboards AJ Dillon was on before the heisman campaign.

I was surprised with Thompson too, but he’s consistently displayed “elite” tackling ability. That paired with his size is attractive to scouts it seems.

I’m interested to see the transfer from Dartmouth. I believe he has the measureables. I’d like to see if he has the talent.

Ok, with all this "NFL talent" I will be more disappointed than any other season if we don't make it to a bowl game.

Yeah I mean it’s so obvious how much our talent is upgraded. No more excuses anymore… time to put up more Ws then Ls
