People on this board have come up with some good low-risk ideas (buses from Albany/Buffalo) already. Anyone know if SU has any ads in Buffalo at the Ralph or First Niagara? Seems like it might generate more ticket sales than those at Yankee Stadium.

Why not look to get into some kind of package tours- combine a game with a Finger Lakes Wine Tour, Golf at Turning Stone or in Lake Placid, put a 10k race on Sunday morning after a home game and have it finish at midfield of the Dome? Try to get people (alums included) to make a weekend of it in CNY but highlighting something that appeals to people other than die-hards.

Have in-stadium giveaways of significance. Give a trip to Duke/UNC with the hoops teams, ACC tourney tickets, autographed items, court-side tickets, a car from Fuccillo.

There should also be more local business involvement. Daryl/Floyd should be heading downtown to companies regularly. Have meet and greets, luncheons with coaches or former players. Make it personal to people.
