Xavier coach Chris Mack has emerged as a legitimate target to replace Jeff Bzdelik at Wake Forest, sources told @CBSSports. Story coming .

Wow, the Big East basketball league is becoming the old Big East football conference all the coaches are getting plucked by bigger programs.

Mack is A-10. One year in the NNBE doesn't make him genuine Big East. Still would be a nice get for WF.

Mack has ties to Wake Forest. He was the director of basketball operations under Skip Prosser at Xavier, and when Prosser moved to Wake Forest, Mack followed him to become an assistant coach. He coached the Demon Deacons from 2001-04 before going back to Xavier as an assistant.
