Has there ever been a Freshman this ready to take over. He was taught and took it all in well on how to run a team. He's gotta be top ten on bball Iq's of all time. Threads needles, uses the hesitation dribble in order to make the perfect pass at the perfect time. Hes michael angelo on the court.

Yikes, this is already surpassing the Billy Owens hype. He just needs to get his picture on the cover of SI now!

No question, the kid has been tremendous.

But he's eight games into his career. Eight, as in less than ten. So it might be time to dial back on the hyperbole.

He's not Isaiah, Magic or Iverson level. But who is? Incredible start. He'll likely hit a bit of a wall in Jan/Feb. But boy, it's fun to watch right now. Last night was sweet.

I don't know why people are so shocked by his play so far. He took a relatively mediocre* team to the high school championship game. In the run up to that game he controlled/dominated every game. He is a true PG and as such should have been the #1 PG in his class (unlike the Harrison twins).

*Mediocre in terms of high major prospects.

I love how well he has looked so far. Just in complete control. With that said the one thing I don't like ( not Ennis' fault) is like last year our guards are too quick to hurry the ball back to Ennis. Like to see G and Cooney wait just a second more to look to pass or attack before immediately feeding it back to Tyler to reset. For situations where Tyler gets a breather it will prepare the team better.
