She's going to implode at some point and its going to be must see TV. She has zero ability to interact with the media and will surely do something stupid when Flood inevitably implodes. Rutgers winning there last two games and flood coming back is a god send.

How is Flood going to inevitably implode? He just laid the wood to one of our conference peers.

UNC is an awful team they gave up 70 or whatever it was for East Carolina. Second Flood and his team got their doors blown out in any big game they played this year versus a legit team ie Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Nebraska etc. They also couldnt beat the worst Penn State team in probably 20 years, there recruiting is not good and their probably going to lose not only Nova (senior) but Caroo the only playmaking WR they have. Next year could be real ugly.

Maybe. But their defense is as bad as our offense. And our defense was better than their offense. I don't think you can say that as matter of fact.

I think them keeping Flood versus bringing in another coach is good news for Syracuse, BC, Pitt, PSU etc.

Amazing that after the Rice/Pernetti stuff that Rutgers failed to do their homework on Herrman. Hopefully her tenure won't keep qualified women from being named AD's at P5 schools because she's a complete disaster of a hire.

Right now he's 23-16, brought in a big time (literally) coordinator in Fridge, and is a pretty bright guy.

Next to our situation it looks stable. Hard to say on Pitt since they always seem to lose coaches. BC looks solid as does PSU.

And yet Pitt has been to what...7 bowls in a row (from memory).

Our "peer" programs, the one's most here think we are at least as good as or way better than, all have us in the rear view mirror.

From one losing season? This past year was an absolute disaster but no one outside of PSU has Syracuse that far in there rear view mirror. BC, Pitt, Rutty etc are all mediocore programs the same thing Syracuse was the last three years before this one.

To be fair, you need to dig a little deeper...how many wins does he have over winning teams? (I believe its only been Navy and Maryland from 2012-14). Rutgers can keep Kyle Flood for alooooong time and it will be a good thing for Syracuse football (and this is not an indictment nor an endorsement of Shafer). Flood at Rutgers is a net positive for Syracuse football.
