Let’s start with “unwarranted.” That means unjustified, right? Because in this case, my comment was about players sometimes moving on when a “bigger” program comes calling which, let’s be honest, happens all the time. So it’s actually pretty warranted, given the odds aren’t exactly zero.

As for “unwanted,” well, I can see how it might be unwanted, people rarely enjoy hearing things they don’t like. The internet, though, is a funny place; it’s full of opinions, and not all of them will sit perfectly with everyone. For what it’s worth, I never said I *wanted* him to leave. I simply pointed out that, in today’s landscape, it’s harder to get overly excited when standout players often attract attention (and offers) from elsewhere.

I’m genuinely curious why an opinion that isn’t extreme or personal creates so much hostility from a stranger online. Maybe that’s something worth reflecting on. Either way, I’m sorry my comment managed to upset you that you would lash out in this manner.
