I'm thinking DL/DE and safety as areas of huge need. Fran is stealth and insiders can't give out specifics but I'm hoping the answer here is "yes" and "likely".

Johnson is not a depth piece. He is playing. A lot. The TE from South Carolina, is likely coming in as TE1.

You can see why GMs are a thing now in college football. Soon to be something else to spend big money on? After that, will come the turn of directors of scouting.

Will they actually be impactful - the success of the process will be told in time but each year provides further proof that McCord was an outlier not the norm.

Yeah as of now I will not be fooled into believing my typical pre-season hype and hope at all…if anything it appears we are at the current moment treading water on portals on a 3-9 team. Just hoping coaching was the problem and the new ones are a serious upgrade and we fixed it because otherwise our recruiting yoda’s head coaching tenure will be short lived

"each year" and its been 1 year since he left, sure some of those games felt like they took a year, but they didn't.
