Read him a long time ago, and just came back to him with Murder as a Fine Art. Takes place in Victorian London. I think there is a trilogy of sorts.

Yes. I didn’t read First Blood because I saw the movie, but have read lots of his other stuff. These three center on Thomas DeQuincy, who wrote “ Confessions of an Opium Eater”. So far, fascinating.
