hasnt come back from the injury it seems.. i saw him huddling around the pack with the big leg brace on sat.
Think he's out for year. Injured again very early.
acl tear last year. missed spring. played last weekend in mop up (along with marcus coleman).
at what point is there mop-up in a 13-0 game? i never quite felt like that last weekend. maybe inside 2 min.acl tear last year. missed spring. played last weekend in mop up (along with marcus coleman).
Sloan tore up his knee at the beginning of August camp 2012. Him playing last weekend was a shade over 14 months. A year recovery and then somebody who tips the scales at 330lbs needs to also get back into playing shape. There's not more than that.
He was also second on the depth chart last August behind Bromley and Crume when he tore up his knee. With him out and the emergence of Raymon and Jones there was no rush. Now that Raymon's out there's a bit more of a need.
They're already saying that Raymon's putting on weight to and his recovery will be a year or more.

According to last week's box score, he played against Wake.

thats great, didnt notice that. was too busy pacing and drinking the good stuff.Good point, maybe mop up was a bad choice of words but the last 1 or 2 Wake series’ the DLine was Sloan and Coleman.
Maybe this guy can help you purchase a jump to conclusions mat.
Fully? Without setback?

it was at the penn st game where friends and family of the program told me not to look for him anytime soon, for he was not in game condition.Don't know. That's why I said in my very first post here "Not sure if it was academics or discipline or injury."
Gun to my head I would guess that he had a weight requirement that took him till last week to hit. But that's just a guess. I know he said the week before the PSU game that football "was a business".

Let's say Raymon misses next year too... He lost his freshman year to that crazy NCAA, he's played his soph year past redshirt ability for an injury, but perhaps he could get a medical shirt next year... Basically how many years left will he have if he misses 2014?

i took it as he still wasnt recovered or had a setback. a big guy like that is not going to be AP with his rehab, it was probably a combo of things. couldve been weight, couldve been certain strength tests needed to be met, who knows.
academics were not the issue, for that i did ask.
