Any reports from Omaha?

In the middle of the night there’s an old man threading his toes through a bucket of rain.

All kidding aside, besides the gray Syracuse like weather ( and the loss of course), Omaha has done a good job as hosts.

Hotels for each team decked out w school logos, and various basketball decorations.
All hotels are within walking distance to the arena as well as an area called the old market that has tons of restaurants and bars. There are volunteers on the streets greeting fans and offering suggestions. It was pretty quiet yesterday after the majority of SU and Clemson fans left. Not as many Kansas fans as you’d expect based on the number at the games. Must be driving in just for games since they’re so close. Having that home court advantage is good for the school, not for the host city.

You can rent bikes all over the area, which we were going to do until it ended up being in the 30’s. Several people we know went to the zoo and said it was one of the best they’ve seen. We have spent our time in the area enjoying the company of friends and watching games.

Nothing but flat land and farms
