What's the latest here? Does anybody have reason to believe we can expect to hear a verbal commit next month from any of these guys we're recruiting?

Obviously it would be great, not sure how realistic it is though. Hence this thread.

Ehhhh...Not to sure, Diagne and Bryant and Jones seem to be the most likley, but I wouldn't hold my breathe on a November commit. I think the spring is when we will get some action.

Biggest competition for Jones are Kansas and Kentucky. At one point said he wanted to announce his junior year (November). Seems like that isn't going to happen.

From what is being said, the staff is in really good shape to land Diagne. Cheick Diallo and Chris Silva have also been offered.

Bryant just transferred to Huntington Prep, this should expand his recruitment. Staff has also offered Tyler Lydon.

Malachi Richardson visits Indiana again in the next few weeks and many consider him to be an IU lean. Per Syracuse.com, staff has visited Stephen Thompson, Jr. Most are convinced the Isaiah Briscoe ship has sailed.

I may be off on some of this, so don't hold me to it!

Looks on point. Probably would have heard whispers about something early, but nothing yet. I think edowd has it right, that we have a good shot at Diagne, maybe Silva too. I still feel pretty good about D. Jones and Bryant. Speculating here, so don't quote me.

Diagne didn't seem to play in Pope John's last game a few days ago.
Don't know why he was out.

Nice positives about Cuse from Silva here.
“It feels pretty exciting because Syracuse, I went to Syracuse [for Elite Camp in August], it was a great university,” Silva told SNY.tv. “I went there with my friend Tyler [Roberson] who goes there.

“I played with a couple players from Roselle Catholic and it was good. Had a great time. The coach was good.”

Goodluck to announce, IU, OSU or UNLV

Kasongo to Oregon as mentioned on bball forum by docsu

Looks he said to UConn.

Would love to get Stevie jr. As much flack some of them received, we have had tons of success with legacy players.

Chief targets for '15 seem to be:

Derrick Jones
Thomas Bryant
Diagne/Silva
Richardson (Thompson, Jr. may be an option here after the post on Hop visiting him today)
