Any whispers on potential new 4th, 5th coach or GM to manage transfer portal?

I believe, if I’m not mistaken, basketball is allowed to hire a 4th and 5th coach this year that are not allowed to recruit. Any updates on potential coaches? Are we not going to take advantage of this new rule? I haven’t heard any discussions on this topic sense Autry was hired. It would be smart to get an experienced coach, who doesn’t have to recruit, to help with gameday situations as this is Autrys first year.

Secondarily, a couple schools have started to hire GM’s to help manage the transfer portal and help oversee roster management. Not sure if this would count as the 4th or 5th coach, or be an entirely different position.

Anyone have insight on either of these?

We should hire a GM, it’s literally a full time job to be figuring out NIL opportunities and finding guys in the portal.

There has been a name floating around the program recently here - an outside hire, relative unknown candidate, Bim Joeheim.

I know Gmac and Griff got big bonuses and the rest of money was going into recruiting budgets so I doubt they will bring in anyone else that has a somewhat big price tag associated with them
