I'm not talking Minnesota strategy-just who's playing well and showing improvement, as well as injury updates

I can start some baseless rumors though.

In a surprise move, Ben "Parker" Lewis "Can't Lose" has been moved to running back and is taking all of the 2nd team reps. FACT.

One practice was delayed for 45 minutes after the defensive line foolishly accepted the offensive line's "Gallon Challenge." Reportedly, field positions were considered unsuitable for contact in the trenches. FACT.

Coach Bullough has unveiled a new defensive formation known only as "The Defenestration of David Cobb." FACT.

This is fun.

The Offensive Line has been watching "The Biggest Loser" together and have been so inspired, they've already lost a total of 500 pounds. Macky alone is reportedly back down to 230 pounds. FACT

Dontez Ford has given up on music, and briefly rejoined the team, but then decided to follow his passion for cooking and is now training to be a pastry chef. FACT

Also, Ashton Broyld has moved positions again. If you're counting, his positions after two years now include QB, H-Back, KR, RB, WR, and Rover. FACT

Extremely well done. FACT.

Eh, I admit I tend to be an apologist for local writers, but I wouldn't expect there to actually be much news to report on. Spring you've got position battles for the next season and usually at least a few new faces/position changes. Fall is obviously a good time to delve into those position battles and you have new faces on the roster as well as on the staff in most years.

Bowl practices are largely going to be health updates I would guess.

Well Michael Cohen is now a sports reporter in Memphis so we won't have to deal with his stuff anymore

I hate the media. Everything about it, it's just wrong.

do we know if they have even practiced yet? they might have had only 1-2 since the last game

It's exam week...probably limited practices (if any) until this weekend.

they only have 15-16 days until the game.. tough to get 15 in. you know the last couple will be light once they get down there.

The way these clowns over at Syracuse.com continue to try and destruct the team, I wouldn't be surprised to see limited access next year too.

so with Cohen gone whose going to do those scintillating recruiting reviews?

listening to some coaches on the XM radio, many are struggling to get practices in with the new recruiting rules. the closed to new years the game the more organized it is.

This 15 days of extra practice is a myth. The ncaa does not have a day limitation on practice sessions in bowl period like they do in spring. The limitation is hourly based just like the regular season.

Covering the Memphis Tigers football program now that's a big step up in the world...not.

I thought this was going g to be a knock on the B1G for taking Rutgers

I think he is just covering the Memphis sports scene, not necessarily the college. I know he was reporting on a bball game about Pastner
