Be sure to wear your green and white if you plan on attending the tourney games in Syracuse. K? Thanks.

Well, we all thought we would have UVA and Nova (two teams we know well from two different conferences) at the Dome this weekend. Instead, we have two teams we've lost to in the NCAAs during the past 15 years (and two teams from our ACC).

I don't really know who the Syracuse folks will be supporting there. Will be interesting to find out.

PS: I just realized I have two "Detroit" shirts in my avatar.

My guess would be Louisville, just on familiarity.

Go Cards, MSU is my second choice. Anybody but NCSt.

I'll be there in Syracuse gear and I will probably root for Michigan State simply due to the respect I have for Izzo. The man is the king of March. Out of all the schools from the ACC, I really can't stand Louisville and NC State.

not a lot of love between NC St fans and us, and there's the whole Pitino thing, so I don't think many of the SU fans will be rooting much for either ACC team

We root for our conference mates.. Everyone else is the enemy.

I'll probably root for NC State to come out of Syracuse. Louisville and Michigan State are getting annoying with their March shenanigans of always being good come tourney time and I nothing Oklahoma.

I'll be rooting for some sort of NCAA scandal involving all or portions of that corrupt and horrible institution. And for good unbiased, well-officiated games.

I'll probably be disappointed.

Izzo is the best coach in the country imo. He gets more out of his players than anybody else. 13 of the last 18 years he has made the Sweet 16. You can't get much more consistent than that. And next year he has a big time recruit coming in named Deyonta Davis.

I'm supporting a power outage.

I'll be rooting against MSU. Their fans are incredibly obnoxious, and I still hold them in disdain after the 2000 NCAA tournament [one of my worst SU related travel experiences, having to play them at the palance in auburn hills and squandering a big lead in the last few minutes].

I've only ever missed two Syracuse NCAA games: MSU in 2000 and Vermont in 2005. Ugh.

But Izzo gets it done every March with a scruffy band of one-star recruits and walk-ons, haven't you heard?

Basically yes. Whatever year it was where his point guard is lost for the year in the second round or something: final four. Of course. The guy is a master in the tournament.
