Anyone know our 2016 Holiday tournament?

We have been in the elite Holiday tournament the past few years.
2015- Battle 4 Atlantis
2014- 2K Sports at MSG
2013- Maui Invitational
2012- Gotham Classic at MSG.
2011- NIT at MSG
2010- Legends at Atlantic City.
2009- CBE HOF in Kansas City

Any idea what we have for the future?

SU is playing the SC Cocks at the Barclays Center next December. Not sure if that's a tournament or a one-off game.

We definitely won't be in the Charleston Classic, that's already been announced.
Maybe Cancun... or Virgin Islands... or Alaska?!?

jb isn't going to Alaska. We only went to Hawaii because Julie wanted to go to Hawaii. would be surprised if next years tournament didn't have some nyc connection.

Alaska is out. It's not a big time tournament anymore because ESPN is no longer affiliated with it. Usually future tournament fields are announced by now. Strange.

Heard we can only travel every other year, which makes since that we are in NYC every other year. I'd imagine an NYC tournament next year

Hopefully CvC or 2k Sports. The preseason NIT is awful with the NCAA's unAmerican no beer policy.

Gotta be the Legends Classic, which is now in Brooklyn after getting bounced between Newark, Atlantic City, and East Rutherford.
Actually Atlantic City was a great home for this event. Intimate, historic arena which we of course took over.

Makes sense since we already have a game in Brooklyn on the schedule.

if it is indeed something in NYC area, that leaves Gotham Classic which means 2 "campus site" games at the Dome against low-rung teams followed by a "guaranteed" game at the Garden, likely against an AAC or equivalent team. Maybe UCONN?!?

yea wish the legends classic was in AC every year. that was such a blast being there thanksgiving weekend in 2010.

People went when there weren't that many tournaments, now who wants to go to Alaska when you go to the Bahamas, Orlando, Anaheim? Except for my parents who love Alaska.

Not Alaska...that has downgraded for more midmajor type schools...although it would be cool to go to.

Disney seems like a second-tier tournament. Weird time slots and it seems like there's never anyone at the games.

It used to be better, I think the Battle for Atlantis has replaced it.
