Why on earth are USC and SMU receiving votes?

So if we were to beat Clemson, we should expect to receive votes too?

Just means one random voter put them at 25th in his or her poll for that Houston win. You can probably find out who it is. I'll guess the city they live in.

USC has looked like a different team in their last 3 wins. Not surprised to see a couple voters give them a #25 vote.

i like the pitt vote---they are very physical. jmho physicality on the ol and dl win out. in my defense i am old school. i have said before when i saw the pitt psu game ,pitt looked strong along both lines.
