2011-12 when they were unranked in the pre with four future NBA players, and went on to finish ranked 5th, a number 1 seed, and a sweet 16 appearance.

Actually in the 1960s and 1970s St. Bonaventure was often ranked, and usually better than us. They were a huge rival. Oh oh. I am officially talking old people stuff.

I think talent-wise we are closer to a 6-8 seed, but we may still be on the bubble and outside the top 25 for most of the season with the fairly difficult schedule.

Lots of good chances to see what we have in the early season. Looks like fair placement for now. We only have a few cupcakes on the non conference schedule Lafayette, Drexel, Lehigh, Cornell and the Hoyas

Early season probably around 2.5 or 3 points.

I think with our experience, we need to make a mark early in the year - win a few at Atlantis and beat IU or Nova and FSU in the early league game. I think with our talent we will have some head scratching losses (let's say G-town) so we need some brand name wins and I think getting those early is our best chance.

Not very many. Or a lot.

That’s a serious answer. The non conference schedule is rough enough to expect even a pretty good team to take some Ls. If they come out of it with 1 or fewer losses then they’ll be ranked. If they take 2 or more Ls, then it will be a long time to get enough wins against a weaker ACC to get there.
